What I really like about this album is how it keeps its pastoral head above a Britain that was in upheaval.
The musicianship is superb. Who cannot be taken by the opening track of Avocet. steve hazelton
Berth was wonderful, we all know, if we got across his music!
Among this sets there are many songs I like but Poor Mouth was always one of my favorites, beside Blues Run the Game.
I've also appreciated the various "Is It Real?"
But there is nothing that is "just a filler" here: it was Bert aired to the nation, nothing less then perfection was delivered!
I am so grateful to have this gems with me :)

Awesome box set where for once the plethora of extras truly add to the body of previously released work as evidenced by the brilliant remixes of On The Shore tucked away on this monumental box. shaun rogan
